WATCH: Drone video shows fireworks that sparked fire in Cañon City

(Cañon City, COLO.) – The New Drone video of Cañon City Embers for fireworks on the ground during the July 4 show that was finally shortened due to a resulting vegetarian fire.

The Canon City Area Fire Protection District responded to a fire on the western side of Skyline Drive resulting from fireworks display in society on Friday 4 July.

The fireworks screen, which is launched from Skyline Drive, was cut around 9:40 pm due to multiple spot fires that had appeared on the western side of Skyline Drive. The fire grew to about five acres before the crews could get it before 7 am on July 5.

In the aftermath of the accident, the Cañon City Committee issued a fireworks on July 4, a statement that reassures the community that the reserves have taken, including the development of additional firefighting, water trucks, and the first respondents on the site.

The committee stated that it is still firmly committed to providing a safe celebration on the fourth of July to society and planning to reassemble their ranks later in the year to explore alternative options, including the possibility of displaying non -flammable fireworks or transferring the offer to a more contained area, such as Centennial Park or the main street.

No one was injured, and no structures were lost during the fire.
