Boeplo, Colorado (KDVR)-The Boeplo Police Administration confirmed on Tuesday that an armed suspect died at the shooting of an officer on July 8 after the officers responded to domestic turmoil.
According to PPD, around 11:45 am on Tuesday, the officers arrived at the scene at the Glen Royal Drive, near Pueblo and West Northern Avenue, in response to a call to reports that the man was threatening his family members with a pistol. The officers saw a man with a pistol at the scene and ordered him to drop the weapon.
PPD reported that the suspect failed to comply with orders and raise the gun towards the officers, and at that time the officer launched a shot and hit the suspect. The suspect announced his death at the scene.
None of the officers or passers -by was injured in the accident. The sharp response team in the tenth judicial area, led by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, will be activated, and the investigation will be led.
The investigator in Boeplo Province will determine the suspect.
