(Kron)-A thief of the alleged Santa Rosa Bank was arrested on Thursday morning after a year, according to the police.
Christopher McCosick, 54, from Santa Rosa, was identified by the Santa Rosa Police Administration as the main suspect on March 21, 2024, theft of Cis Bank on Sonoma Street. The authorities said that McCosick was identified by “reviewing wide -ranging video control and digital forensic analysis.”
McCosick was arrested on Thursday around 10:40 am through investigations into SRPD crimes in the 600th Group of Management. The authorities have also searched his residence in 200 blocks Park Drive for additional evidence related to the bank’s theft.
On March 21, 2024, police said that MCKUSICK entered Chase in 2300 Sonoma Avenue and submitted a note to the cash who demanded money. He was able to escape from the bank with an unknown amount of money before SRPD officers arrived. No weapon was recruited or threatened during the theft, according to law enforcement.
MCKUSICK was seized in Sonoma Province prison on charges of theft and accused of violating monitoring.
