((CrohnTwo elderly drivers were wounded after they were crashed on Thursday afternoon in Santa Rosa. The accident occurred at about 12:25 pm on Fountaingroving Parkway between Stagecoach Road and Thomas Lake Harris Drive.
SRPD said 911 connected to the accident as “a really bad accident.”
A white Chevy car and a red sedan car shared the accident and caused great damage (photo below). Both motorcade drivers were taken to the hospital for non -life -threatening injuries.
According to the police, Chevi was heading west on Foundation behind Ford. “I suddenly accelerated at a very high speed rate, hit the back of the Ford, and send both the two compounds to spin and cause clashes with trees lining up on the road.”
It is still not clear the reason for the acceleration of Chevy, but the early results reveal that the elderly driver accidentally hit the pedal instead of the brake.
Fountaingroving Parkway has been closed for about four hours as the police achieved the accident. It has been reopened since then.
