In a dramatic turn in an already turbulent relationship, David Beador, ex-husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador, has filed a restraining order against his estranged wife, Lesley Beador, citing multiple allegations of abuse, manipulation, and concern for the safety of their 4-year-old daughter, Anna Love.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, David, 60, filed for a temporary restraining order on June 17, asking the court to require Lesley, 41, to stay at least 100 yards away from him, his home, and workplace — with the exception of child custody exchanges involving Anna.
The court responded by ordering Lesley to vacate David’s Newport Beach residence. In addition, the filing mandates that Lesley, her daughter Anna, and her two children from a previous relationship, Inga and Indris Pukke, remain at the family’s Montana home for the rest of the summer.
In his court statement, David wrote:
“Lesley and I have had many ups and downs in our marital relationship, with prior [divorce petitions] filed and dismissed and domestic violence restraining orders. I have always been concerned that Lesley’s relationship with me has been primarily based upon her desire to live a luxurious standard of living.”
He went on to allege that Lesley married him solely for financial reasons, claiming,
“In our case [it’s] not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case it is a fact, she has made that very clear to me literally.”
David also accused Lesley of using their daughter Anna to manipulate him.
“She has used Anna as a tool to extract more money from [me],” he wrote. “She has used Anna to persuade me [to] dismiss my prior domestic violence actions.”
This isn’t the first time restraining orders have been involved in their relationship. In June 2023, it was Lesley who initially filed for divorce and requested a restraining order, claiming David had subjected her and Anna to “threats, harassment and hostile behavior.”
David responded with his own filing, stating:
“I now genuinely fear for my safety, and that of Anna’s to the point that I have no choice but to bring this request.”

In his most recent June 2025 court filing, David went even further, alleging that Lesley has physically assaulted him on multiple occasions.
“Lesley has physically abused me on several occasions and only a small portion of those incidents have been detailed in previous domestic violence actions,” he stated.
Calling Lesley a “pathological liar,” David claimed:
“She will state under penalty of perjury literally anything that will benefit her. I endured countless incidents of domestic violence and abuse solely to be in a position where I can have frequent and continuing contact with Anna.”
He described one recent altercation that occurred on June 10, the night before they were supposed to leave for a family trip to New York. According to David, Lesley picked a fight after a friend made flattering remarks about him in front of her. The following day, he alleged,
“Lesley physically attacked me, gouging large chunks of skin out of my arm,” and even included photographs of the injuries in his filing.
David also described a disturbing incident during that same fight:
“Lesley actually shoved her fingers into my mouth attempting to silence me and later developed a self-serving narrative that I unilaterally bit her fingers!”
He claimed she slapped him across the face at least four times and cornered him in the bathroom. After the altercation, the planned trip was canceled, and Lesley took Anna and her two children to Montana.
While there, David said Lesley texted him to announce she wanted a divorce. The following day, June 13, she allegedly accused him of being gay, which he strongly denied. He also mentioned that he canceled the purchase of what he called a “very expensive necklace,” which he claims upset her deeply.
Following that, he alleged,
“Rather than letting me speak with Anna, she threatened that she was going to get her own three (3) year restraining order against me. This has been her pattern in the past.”
He added that in past incidents where he claims to have been the victim of domestic violence, Lesley had repeatedly and falsely accused him of being the aggressor.
“Lesley’s mental state is disturbing and nonsensical,” he concluded.
Lesley posted on her social media seemingly unbothered sharing a selfie of herself on 7/1

A hearing on the restraining order is scheduled for next week. The outcome could play a significant role in the ongoing custody and divorce proceedings.
