Bonds built between families after same man accused of killing son, brother

Austin – before March this year, Anna Mendeville and Castillo were strangers.

Mendeville was about six months in the sadness of her 17 -year -old son Eric. Castillo had no idea her brother was about to kill. The same person who claims to be the person carrying a gun cannot understand.

Mendeville’s son was shot in Buda in August.

“Nobody understands until this shock,” she said. “Waking up at night, crying, nightmares.”

The Office of the Public Prosecutor in Hayes Province considered this to shoot self -defense and decided not to prosecute the person who fired the Venice. But Mendeville knew that he would pass the criminal justice, his name was Jacob Gonzalez.

Gonzalez’s lawyer said the case was open and closed, and the accusations were never even done.

Quickly this year. Mendeville saw the face of Gonzales again. Gonzalez was arrested and charged with killing. He is accused of shooting and killing Aden Maryz, as the police and public prosecutors describe as a road anger.

Maryz was Castillo’s brother.

“I saw Anna, a post, on Facebook, continued to mean, and we met in a restaurant and we talked about everything,” said Castillo.

“I am trying to help someone though, as you know, both of them went,” added Mendeville.

According to the detention line of the road anger, Gonzalez admitted that the Venice was shot. “It was supposed to be a warning snapshot. I didn’t mean to be fatal,” she says.

Defense lawyer and retired judge, Charlie Bird Gonzalez, represented the shooting on March 8. When APD provided the case details for the first time, the police said that the road anger was “extended to miles” before the shooting.

“Jacob was sitting in his car, and he stopped at a red light. A man came out of another vehicle of his car and approached Jacob in a threat and when he did so, Jacob was afraid, and in self -defense he resorted to fatal power and shot the respected man once.”

Castilo faces it difficult to believe that her brother will act in an escalating situation to the point that he is fatal.

She said, “I took my brother, and I also took a piece of our hearts.”

Castillo described her brother as a family man and a person who was creative.

She said, “My brother, he was a really funny man. He always wanders in our embrace, and our love.” “He had a passion for art, and the artist was on the walls.”

Mendeville said Eric was a lover and great brother of the rest of his brothers.

“My son was a really happy child, it was the light of the party.”

Both wore the shirts with the image of a member of their family.

“By wearing this shirt, it makes me feel that my brother is still with me, and our love will never fade,” said Castillo.

Gonzalez is scheduled to return to the court in September.
