Southern California teacher arrested for allegedly embezzling thousands of dollars 

A teacher in San Bernardino County was arrested for embezzlement of thousands of dollars from the Parent Teachers Organization (PTO).

The suspect was identified as Ariana Rodriguez, 34, from Yuka Valley, according to the Sharif Mourongo Basin Department.

The authorities said that Rodriguez works as a teacher at Yuka Valley Secondary School and is also the supervisor of the PTO account.

On June 18, a PTO member reported a series of unauthorized withdrawals from the organization’s account.

Investigators later discovered that Rodriguez has embezzled more than $ 8,500 through unauthorized transactions over two years.

On July 2, Rodriguez was arrested on charges of embezzlement and was seized in the Morongjo Basin Prison. It is held on bail of $ 30,000.
