Survivors of Lake Tahoe boating tragedy identified

San Francisco (Crohn) – Two women who survived the tragedy of Lake Tahoe boats were identified through the GoFundme page such as Amy Fredos, and her mother, Julie Lindsay.

The mother and daughter were among the 10 people on a boat celebrating the birthday of a woman in Redwood when she hit a severe thunderstorm June 21. US Coast Guard officials said.

Law enforcement officials refused to answer questions about the number of people who were wearing survival jackets on the boat. Washo Sharif County Office said two bodies were found 300 feet below the surface of the lake, while six bodies were found “on the surface near the flipping boat.”

Joshua Picklo’s widow and their 7 -year -old child did not join the group to ride boats on the lake. The widow wrote: “There are no words that can express the pain and anguish that we feel that the knowledge of their lives was lost during what was supposed to be a happy time.”
