UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland employees call off strike

((CrohnUcsf Benioff Children Oakland Hospital staff said they would end their strike on Monday morning. The group scheduled for the group was canceled for Sunday.

According to the Federation, a federal judge refused his request to issue a judicial order that would prevent UCSF Health from following up to cancel the federation contracts. The cancellation of Ocsf Hospital employees will form as direct employees at UCSF.

The Union says that UCSF Health has a “integration plan” that is scheduled to start on July 6.

The Federation says it submits a proposal that seeks to force the arbitration over whether the integration violates its contracts with the hospital, and the session is scheduled to be held on July 17. The group also seeks to obtain restraint relief through the National Labor Relations Council.

“Our strike has ended, but our battle is still continuing,” said Willie Williams, a hospital orthopedic technician. “We are proud that we took this position to each other and for the sake of East Bay. We know that what UCSF suggests will pay long care providers, and we are still determined on the contrary.”

The National Union of Health Care workers represents this group of 1,300 workers at Auckland Hospital for Children.
