CA Senator Scott Wiener files paperwork to run for Nancy Pelosi's Congress seat

SANA Francisco (KON)-California Senator Scott Winner (De San Francisco) presented paper works that he intends to run for the United States representative to the eleventh Congress in California, a seat of Nancy Pelosi currently.

In an interview with our sister’s news station KTLA, Winner was asked about the question related to his political future.

“There was a talk about your future, a potential successor to Nancy Pelosi at home,” he asked KTLA. “We know that Pelosi made papers for 2026. Are you thinking about running?”

“I love what I do in the Senate in the state,” Winner said.

Wiener’s paper works indicate that he intends to run in 2028. However, Pelosi did not seek to obtain another period next year, Democrat in San Francisco can transfer his campaign money to running in 2026.
