Denver (KDVR) – In an extraordinary step, the alliance of preserving the Denver Zoo will close on Saturday due to safety concerns.
“The Denver Police Department has made us familiar with an event that happens tomorrow afternoon in City Park, which is referred to as” City Park’s acquisition, “said Gake Garden spokesman.
The zoo plans to open at 7:30 am, which is the usual before. It will be closed at 1 pm instead of 8 pm
“We are a university campus with an area of 80 acres in central City Park, directly in the center of Denver, with nearly two million visitors every year, and 2,500 wild animals. Safety is our top priority,” Kobe said. “We hope this is just an exaggerated reaction.”
At the end of last week, a group of about 300 teenagers appeared to fight in stores in Northfield in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. Witnesses described the scene as “chaos.”
According to Denver Police, the events who organized this event are also behind a series of social media calling for teenagers to fight in the locations of the popular metro region throughout the summer.
“I think the biggest ready -made meals are that these things can become very large quickly and a kind of development quickly. We knew that it was in the past, but it was a little larger than we thought,” said Rick Kyle, head of the Denver Police Department.
Kyle said that DPD devotes a “large” amount of resources to keep Amna City Park on Saturday. The administration will have investigative teams to monitor social media jobs and increase the presence within City Park throughout the day.
Kyle said: “Depending on what is happening, he is likely to be arrested and go to the court of assaults, and serious damage to property and this type of things. Our preference is not the arrest of people, but if that is escalating to this level, this may happen,” Kyle said.
Uorra Police Department is also planning to increase the city center in Aurora Mall due to a publication on the seizure of this site in July.
“We have a lot of people who come to the center of Aurora only for shopping, to eat, things like that, and we want to make sure they feel safe,” said App Matthew Longshore agent.
The department also works on ways to keep teenagers participating in the plural.
“We were killed two weeks ago because it relates to a group of children who are gathering to fight. Although the publications we saw do not say any weapons, come to fight, and it is clear that it was not the killing,” Longshaur said.
According to DPD, other cities across the country are also witnessing acquisitions of teenagers and fighting clubs stimulated by social media publications.
“Children outside the school now. They do not have many obligations for their time. They may be looking for things to do. Unfortunately, I don’t think this is a positive thing,” Kyle said.
Denver Police Department requests any person who sees social media positions that encourage violence for youth or acquisitions of reporting the suspicious activity of the police.
