LIANGELO BALL EXPECTING BABY WITH RASHIDA NICOLE, JUST MONTHS AFTER WELCOMING DAUGHTER WITH NIKKI MUDARRIS

LiAngelo Ball is preparing to become a father again. The basketball player is expecting a child with his new girlfriend Rashida Nicole, only six months after welcoming a daughter with ex Nikki Mudarris.

Rashida shared the news in an Instagram post featuring a photo of her growing baby bump.

“New Beginnings. Wish I had all the right words to describe this journey,” she wrote. “But I guess if I had to define it, all I can truly say is: I’m grateful, terrified, anxious, nauseous, HANGRY  all of thee above.”

She went on to explain that as a teen mom, she had been hesitant to go through pregnancy and parenting again. “I want to thank my daughter for being here for me during this process, always demonstrating unconditional LOVE and reassuring me that, ‘Everything is alright!’” she continued. “And for now I choose to protect my peace and this beautiful energy.#Momof2 #TeamboyorGirl”

The announcement follows the birth of Ball’s second child with Nikki Mudarris. The former couple welcomed their daughter LaNiyah Nicole on December 3,2024.

“[And] then there was 4. LaNiyah Nicole Ball. Born December 3, 1:43am. Welcome to the world baby girl,” Mudarris shared at the time. “Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy. I will forever guide and protect you. Feeling overly blessed and complete. Thank you God.”

In February, Mudarris accused Ball of infidelity and claimed he walked out on their family. In a series of now-deleted Instagram posts shared on February 8, she wrote, “We spent 3 1/2 years together, and last week, he decided to walk out on his kids and me. We were just happy and planning family photos. I am beyond blindsided by this whole thing.”

She also expressed how difficult the situation has been for her postpartum. “The ultimate betrayal is not even the word. My daughter is not even two months old, and dealing with this and postpartum is very hard. Please pray for me and my healing because I will get through this,” she added.

Ball recently spoke about the accusations during an appearance on The Baller Alert Show. When asked about the wildest rumor he has heard about himself, he said it involved claims that he is a deadbeat dad.

“St I don’t like is when nas try to say that I’m like a deadbeat pops or something,” he responded. “’Cause I be with my [kids] every day, for real. I raised ‘em up. I feel like a lot of st be misleading sometimes.”

He added, “I don’t get too worked up, for real. I don’t be mad over the internet. I just put my phone down and hang out with the gang.”
