Harris County Public Health reports 1st West Nile virus human case of 2025 after man tests positive, fully recovers

It takes a collective effort to fight mosquitoes in Harris Province

Through the already active mosquito season, here are what health officials suggest to do to combat the annoying insect.

Harris Province, Texas (KTRK) – Harris Province confirmed the first humanitarian state of West Nile virus for the year 2025.

On Friday, public health officials in Harris Province announced a man in East Harris Province, a positive test for the virus and led to a complete recovery.
