DISNEY DROPS FIRST LOOK AT NEW MUSIC SERIES, ‘ELECTRIC BLOOM’

Disney has just dropped the first look at its highly anticipated new music series, Electric Bloom, promising fans a vibrant blend of sound, style, and storytelling.

Originally announced late last year under the working title How We Became the Biggest Band in the World, the series has now evolved into Electric Bloom, a high-energy musical adventure set to captivate both kids and parents alike. With its official debut just around the corner, the show promises to have audiences of all ages singing, dancing, and rocking out alongside the band.

Electric Bloom follows the three members of the now mega-famous pop group Electric Bloom as they look back and tell the story of their band and friendship, starting with the day they all met in high school. The girls go on a journey to becoming the biggest band in the world and the best friends in the universe.

According to Deadline, the upcoming series will star Lumi Pollack (The Fallout) as Posey, newcomer Carmen Sanchez as Jade, newcomer Ruby Marino as Tulip and Nathaniel Buescher (Circuit Breakers) as Lucas.

Eric Friedman serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside writers and executive producers Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis. Oscar-winner Diane Warren and Bahareh Batmang are executive producers for the project as well. Warren wrote the majority of the songs in series, including the theme song and those in the pilot episode. Jody Hahn directed and executive-produced the pilot.

Electric Bloom will premiere on Thursday, July 10th at 8:35pm ET/PT on Disney Channel after the premiere of the anticipated trip back to Zombietown in  Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires. The series will then drop the 13 episodes on Disney+ on September 17th, with the remainder of episodes dropping in October.
