Street racers in Loveland using social media to avoid police patrols

Denver (KDVR)-When the weather begins to heat, the police say this, you have speeds on the roads in Loving, but they also say that some social media functions have some negative effects on their ability to apply traffic safety.

“With the entry of the summer months, we started to see a dense increase with the street race,” said Loving Police Police.

He said the speed is also increasing.

“We had a motorcycle that we discovered on one of our cameras, which is running 135 miles per hour, at the bottom of Eisenhower Street,” said Badges.

High speeds that make the roads more dangerous for everyone. Badges said that an accident in recent weeks ended in a plane crash after a street rider attempted to overcome the officers.

“We are lucky that there was no infantry or the innocent passers -by who were injured, and we are lucky because the driver received very slim injuries, but it could have turned into a catastrophic more than he did,” he said.

The height is not only in the crowded streets either.

“Believe it or not, we get a lot of complaints from our residential areas, and this is a big problem,” he said.

So, how is it divided? Periodic details are a large part of the plan, but it has become less effective in part for community members to alert others from their social media sites.

“They have the freedom to do this, but it becomes counterproductive,” said Badgit.

Good intentions often enter into the wrong hands.

“We talked to these people after we face them, and we have been told that we, yes, we follow these pages, and when we redeem you, we go to another region,” Badgeet said.

Loving Police requires everyone to help keep the road safety.

“There must be enforcement, otherwise it reaches an unimaginable level,” said Badgit.

They are grateful for any support that society can provide, which of course includes reporting the street race if you see it in your area.
