Northglenn-Thornton Rotary Club donates to seniors, trees for Rotary Park

KDVR-Northglenn-thethornton Rotary Club donated $ 3,150 to support emergency assistance to the elderly and new trees in Rotary Park.

The Rotary Service Club was recognized to donate it during a meeting of the Northlip City Council on June 9.

“In our capacity, we believe in meaningful measures that raise our neighbors and enhance our society,” said Marisa Phillips, president of the club.

The Rotary Club donated $ 2000 to the Great Emergency Grant Program in Northvin in addition to three trees – at a value of $ 1050 in total – to be planted in the Rotary Park, according to Philipis.

Philips said: “The partnership with the city in initiatives like this reflects our mission to help our society to grow stronger, more green and more connected.”
