2 found dead Wednesday after Santa Rosa police respond to domestic violence call

(BCN) – The police said two people were found dead in the Santa Rosa apartment on Wednesday afternoon, after the officers responded to an invitation on a possible home violence case.

A call came at about 2:40 pm on Wednesday about possible domestic violence in an apartment in the 1500th building of the Atlanta Court. The Santa Rosa Police Department said the caller was not in the housing, but he received information on the phone about a problem there.

The officers responded, but they were unable to contact anyone inside the apartment, and they learned that several bullets were heard about 20 minutes before the police arrived at the four units.

As a preventive measure, the police evacuated the other three units in the building and continued to try to contact people inside the apartment. Around 4:30 pm, Swat team entered and found a dead man and woman in a bedroom of clear fiery wounds.

Investigators decided that the man and the woman were 24 years old and recently moved to Santa Rosa from southern California. Police said that the woman was subjected to multiple shots from an offensive rifle and that the man had at least one shot of the fire weapon itself.

According to the police, investigators are still looking into the relationship between men and women, but they believe that the issue only involves the two inside the apartment. It was expected that the anatomy of the bodies on the husband was expected to be complete on Thursday and her names were not immediately available.

The police found four firearms – two pods, an offensive rifle and a rifle – in the apartment and weapons were designed to be owned by the man who died.
