Colorado State Patrol to hold pair of sobriety checkpoints in June

Denver (KDVR) – The Colorado State patrol has announced that it will conduct a pair of sobriety checkpoints during the month of June.

CSP said the checkpoint sites were chosen based on the history of the only identity document accidents and arrests.

CSP times and sites include: The following:

  • Alamosa province checkpoint
    • 1315 Street 17, Alamosa
    • June 14 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm
  • Douglas County checkpoint
    • E470 – Toll Plaza A
    • June 20-21 from 9 pm to 2 am

CSP soldiers will search for signs that the driver is subject to the effect of alcohol and/or drugs, including some prescribed medications or medications that said without a prescription said the agency could interfere with driving.

“With great clarity, the official driving enforcement events, soldiers will also address those who make a bad driving decision,” CSP said in a press statement.

CSP asks anyone who sees a weak driver to call them on the phone on *277.

Drivers who have caught driving and under detention can expect a possible time to imprisonment, fines, Dui classes, fees and other expenses that can exceed $ 13,000, according to CSP.
