ASAN (KXAN) – on Tuesday, the Travis Province Judge Andy Brown hosted a fifth annual pride science ceremony in the Travis Administrative Province.
Participants “PROGRESS PRIDE FLA” raised the ceremony, a press release.
The statement said that the PROGRESS PRIDE flag includes Chevron of eggs, pink, light blue, brown and black to symbolize the rights of transgender people, colored people and those who live with HIV/AIDS. This was the fifth year in which pride was over the province of Travis.
In 2021, the commissioners’ court voted for the first time ever “the approval of the flag aircraft on the Travis Provincial Management Building.”
According to the issue, this was part of a decision that adopted “comprehensive policies that prevent contractors from discrimination against race, color, national origin, religion, sexual inclination, sexual identity/ expression or veteran situation.”
Brown talked about the importance of the journey of science on the boycott of Travis.
“Now more than ever, we need to reaffirm our commitment to the LGBTQIA community,” Braun expressed. Brown added: “When raising the flag pride flag, which is still legally in Texas, Travis is recognized by corridors, activists, friends and family who paved the way to include it and equal in history,” Braun added.
The month of pride was observed in June. It is time to honor the flexibility and contributions of members of the LGBTQIA community, ”Brown said.
Brown said that raising the flag of pride is a strong reminder that everyone “sees, celebrates and supported.”
