‘If Flacco Asked Me To Do This Every Day, I Would Do It’ — Viral Clip Shows Shedeur Sanders Isn’t Above Rookie Duties

Cleveland Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders is already proving he’s not just another entitled prospect. After sliding in the 2025 NFL Draft, the former Colorado star is winning over teammates and possibly the coaching staff with his work ethic and attitude behind the scenes.

Now, a viral clip from his livestream has added another layer to his early NFL story.

Shedeur Sanders Is Embracing His Role in Cleveland

When the Browns drafted Sanders, the conversation focused more on his last name than his playbook. The son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has been under the microscope for years, and questions about humility followed him throughout the pre-draft process.

But if his recent locker room behavior is anything to go by, Sanders is more than happy to earn his stripes the hard way.

“I know that when I’m a vet, I’m going to have a rookie organize my locker every day, before he leaves,” Sanders said on his livestream while tidying up. “Here’s the thing, if Flacco told me to do this every day, I would do it. Real talk, I go to him every day and say, ‘Bruh, you good? Do you need anything?’ It’s respect, you feel me? Ask him.”

It’s a message that resonated quickly, especially in a locker room that features one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the league in Joe Flacco. With 18 years in the NFL, Flacco is expected to start for the Browns in Week 1, and Sanders clearly knows who’s earned command of the room.

The Rookie’s Attitude Is Turning Heads

Head coach Kevin Stefanski has already taken note of Sanders’ early habits and those of fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. Speaking at the Browns Foundation golf outing, Stefanski said, “Yeah, those guys are doing great. They are both wired to get in early, stay late, put in whatever work is required. They’re sponges in the meeting room, which I think is really fun for me.”

It’s a crowded QB room in Cleveland, with Flacco, Gabriel, Sanders, and former first-round pick Kenny Pickett all in the mix. But the early signs suggest Sanders is doing more than holding his own.

He’s not just showing respect, he’s competing. Reports from OTAs say Sanders has looked sharp in team drills.

The Browns continue OTAs from June 3–5. With no live contact but full 11-on-11 work permitted, Sanders will have more chances to solidify his standing.

He may have been a draft-day faller, but Sanders is already rising in Cleveland, and he’s doing it the right way.
