Another Colorado wolf dead, CPW watching 4 potential dens for pups

Denver (KDVR) – Another wolf who re -presented to Colorado died, and wildlife officials have continued to monitor many possible toxins as there may be a new puppy.

Colorado Parks and wildlife announced on Monday that it had received a alert to death for male male male 2507 on May 31, and said that the wolf died in northwest of Colorado.

Since this species is a federal listed under the Law of Endangered Species, death is investigated by the American fish and wildlife service. CPW said the cause of death will be determined in anatomy as part of the investigation.

No more details were launched about death, but the agency said it continues to monitor the activity of the wolf, including four potential dens.

“There is possible that there is an unknown number of new puppies who were born this year,” CPW said in a press statement.

The agency said that it is working on plans for displacement efforts next year so that the wolf residents continue to grow, which leads to their own population, in addition to the new puppies.

A total of six wolves have been transferred to the mandate of the centenary so far this year. Last week, CPW announced that it had killed a gray wolf in Petkin Province after reports of chronic deprivation despite the efforts of non -deadly livestock producers to deter wolves from their animals. Last month, another gray wolf died in the northwest of Colorado.
