DISNEY DROPS ‘ZOOTOPIA 2’ TEASER TRAILER

Fans are rejoicing all over the world as Disney drops the first trailer to the follow-up to the 2016 hit movie, Zootopia.

“We are beyond excited to welcome everyone back to the outrageous, expansive animal metropolis of Zootopia, and take audiences on a hilarious, wild ride into parts of the city we’ve never visited before,” said co-director Jared Bush, who also wrote the script, and serves as Disney Animation’s Chief Creative Officer.

“Whether it’s the marshes of semi-aquatic mammals, the vast desert dunes or even greater mysteries beyond, our heroes, Judy and Nick, will meet a lot of new friends, and discover even more about the world, themselves and a brand-new snake in town.”

So just what can fans expect from Zootopia 2? Well, here’s a brief synopsis according to Deadline

Zootopia 2 reunites Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), the rookie cops from the Zootopia P.D., as they find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, they must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.

In addition to Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, Zootopia 2 will also feature OG voices such as Chief Bogo (Idris Elba), Yax (Tommy Chong), Mr. Big (Maurice LaMarche), Clawhauser (Nate Torrence), former Assistant Mayor Bellwether (Slate), Stu Hopps (Don Lake), Bonnie Hopps (Bonnie Hunt) and Flash (Raymond S. Persi).

Additionally, the second installation of the franchise will introduce new voices to Zootopia PD including Fortune Feimster and Quinta Brunson.
