Aostan – A permanent supervisor was chosen in the Travis Lake ISD after the members of the Board of Directors voted at a special meeting on Thursday.
Dr. Curtis Nol was previously named in the only final of this position earlier this month. The province said in a press statement that he would hold permanent duties on Monday, June 2. Null comes to the region from Conroe ISD, northern Houston, where he held the position of supervisor since June 2018.
“I am honored to be chosen by the Leck Travis School Council as a school supervisor,” Nol said in the press statement. “Travis ISD is a distinguished school area with a rich tradition and roots of success in academics, athletics and fine arts. This is a privilege and responsibility that I cannot bear lightly, and I look forward to serving employees, students and families of this great society.”
Null will replace Steve Flores, who has held the position of temporary supervisor since late February. Flores assumed Paul Norton, who was placed on December 2024, after allegations of misconduct, according to the region. At that time, the school council said in a press statement that these allegations are “secret and protected from disclosure.”
