The Michigan Wolverines product is likely to lead the Vikings’ QB corps in the upcoming season. McCarthy will be hyped for the upcoming season, as the youngster will have a special supporter in the stands.
J.J. McCarthy Shares Delightful News Ahead of the NFL Return
McCarthy will have extra motivation to lead his side to glory in the 2025 NFL season. The Vikings QB’s fiancée, Katya Kuropas, announced that the pair is expecting their first child in September. She posted a carousel of pictures from her maternity shoot with the caption:
“The best surprises come when you least expect them. Our sweet baby boy is arriving in September, and we couldn’t be happier🩵🍼”
Kuropas donned a white crochet top and comfortable denim jeans, while McCarthy wore a white T-shirt and denim jeans. The intimate maternity shoot took place in a serene grassy field. Kuropas also added a clip at the end of the carousel in which McCarthy could be seen showing their son’s sonograms.
McCarthy and Kuropas started dating in October 2018 while still in high school. After dating for five years, they exchanged rings in January last year. They announced the engagement via their Instagram handle, posting pictures of themselves with their pup Marley on a beach.
“Me, You & Marley Forever & Ever✨🤍,” the caption read.
Kuropas has been McCarthy’s constant supporter, showing up and cheering for him from the stands. When the youngster finally lives his dream of playing in the NFL, his son will likely be cheering for him.
McCarthy will have wide receiver Justin Jefferson as his primary weapon. Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason will take care of the running back slot. Ryan Kelly, Will Fries, and first-round pick Donovan Jackson will provide the needed support to McCarthy on the offensive line.
The Vikings enjoyed an incredible regular season, winning 14 games. But the Los Angeles Rams knocked them out in the Wild Card Round itself. McCarthy needs to be at his best for Minnesota to make a deeper run into the playoffs. The franchise has some scores to settle in the next season and they hope McCarthy gets the job done.
