WATCH: Colts Troll…Then Delete…Tyreek Hill’s Arrest in Viral Minecraft-Themed Schedule Release Video

The most fun part of the offseason is here! Teams are rolling out their schedule release videos, and the creativity is off the charts. Everyone in the NFL is going big, from fake medicine ads to throwback game parodies and original songs by players. The Indianapolis Colts went with a Minecraft theme.

Like any good schedule drop, the Colts used theirs to take playful shots at rivals. Even non-division teams didn’t get a pass, including the Miami Dolphins, their Week 1 opponent, and wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Colts Troll Tyreek Hill in 2025 Schedule Release Video

The NFL schedule release is a lighthearted moment. After weeks of draft picks and big free agent moves, it’s the one time teams and media departments get to have fun.

The Colts chose Minecraft as the theme for their video. Minecraft is a game that’s trending in pop culture following the release of its movie adaptation and is also one of the most successful video games of all time.

With a charming visual style, the team poked fun at its opponents and took a jab at the Dolphins’ wide receiver over an incident that happened during Week 1 of last season. But did they go too far?

The Colts’ social media team deleted the video roughly an hour after it was posted. But some users downloaded it before it was deleted.

Last year, Hill was detained while driving to Hard Rock Stadium for the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jaguars. He reportedly ignored police instructions and was briefly handcuffed before being let go.

That same day, Hill played and balled out, scoring a touchdown and racking up 130 receiving yards. After the score, he even made fun of the arrest by pretending to be in handcuffs during his celebration.

The Colts’ video played off that moment. In their version, a dolphin is shown swimming before a Coast Guard ship shows up and arrests it. While the moment was used for laughs, some might also take it as a critique. Hill later said the officer acted aggressively and didn’t know why he was being treated that way.

While this situation was unusual and became the subject of jokes, including from Hill, the player has had other run-ins with the law. The most recent involved a domestic incident in which the police were called to his home, though no charges were filed.

The NFL returns on Sept. 4, with the Dallas Cowboys facing the Philadelphia Eagles. The season’s first international game takes place just a day later, as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to Brazil to face the Los Angeles Chargers. The Indianapolis Colts open their season at home on Sunday, Sept. 7, against the Miami Dolphins.
