89 year-old Arkansas woman reunited with beloved records 15 years after losing them

North Little Rock, Arkansas (Kark-A 89-year-old Arkansas woman had a gift that appeared recently that she believed was lost forever.

Nancy Rorex has worked for more than forty years in providing food behind the scenes to various squares around Arkansas. Along the way, I managed to hear many artists and collect vinyl records.

“I didn’t even want to cook. I didn’t know what I was doing. I just enjoyed music and energy.” Rorx said. “There is some good music now, but my heart is still in the 1980s.”

Rorx said that days after her retirement, she received an unexpected call from a former colleague in her lost group, which they found in the used commodity market. Rorx said that the group was lost while homes moved 15 years ago.

“She saw records saying” my mother “and she had something about serving food and because she worked here, she wondered whether they were me,” said Rorx.

Rorex managed to get more than 20 records, as many of them were signed by different artists and groups with personal messages written on it.

She said: “They (Vinyl records) represent a lot of fun and challenge in my life because I had no idea what I was doing when I started this.”

Rorx said that everyone returns different memories, including some with her family.

She said, “Lionel Richie accepted me on the cheek.” “I remember my husband: We were sitting and holding their hands while singing Kenny Rogers and Dolly Barton.”

Rorx said she was grateful because she was able to return to her and get help to find others missing.

“I am thinking of how much I am granted to get all these wonderful memories.”
