(Crohn)-A 80-year-old woman was killed by Felton in a face-to-face-fracture on the 9th Highway in Bin Le Monde in Santa Cruz Province on Saturday.
The victim was leading north in the Volkswagen 1967 beetle when the errors collided with face with the Silver Toyota Sikoya in the opposite direction, according to the California Highway periodic. The accident occurred at approximately 8:20 am, south of the Brakney Road.
“For reasons that are still under investigation, both cars collided with face faces,” said CHP. “As a result of the crash, the Volkswagen driver was seriously injured and he was announced that he died at the scene by the medical staff, despite the life -saving efforts. The Toyota driver was not injured.”
The officers did not specify the speed of the VW basin at the time of the accident. It is not clear whether drugs or alcohol are a worker in the accident. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
CHP issued a statement on the safety of the seat belt in the wake of the deadly accident.
“Security belts are the most safety driver that passengers can do,” CHP said. “Safety belts significantly increase your chance to stay during the accident.”
