TOKIO (AP)-Tsunami hit the coastal areas of the Russian Islands and the large North Holkaido Island in Japan after an 8.7-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday.
Tsunami warning sirens on Tuesday in Honolulu and people were told to move to a higher land.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency said that the first tsunami, which includes about 30 cm (about 1 feet), arrived in the Nimoro on the eastern coast of Hokido.
The first Tsunami wave in the coastal region of Severo Corelillsk, the main settlement in the Russian Islands of Korel in the Pacific Ocean, was struck, according to the local ruler Valerie Limarinco. He said that the residents were safe and staying on high ground until the frequent threat of the wave ended.
The Tsunami Warning Center said that waves of 1 to 3 meters (yard) above the tide level were possible along some coastal areas in Hawaii, Chile, Japan and the Islands of Solomon. Waves of more than 3 meters (yard) were possible along some coastal areas in Russia and Ecuador.

TOKIO (AP)-The Plus-8.7 earthquake in the far east of Russia was pushed on Wednesday, tsunami warnings in parts of Japan, Alaska and Hawaii.
The damage and evacuation were reported in the closest Russian regions of the earthquake in the Kamashka Peninsula.
The Tsunami Warning Center said that waves of 1 to 3 meters (yard) above the tide level were possible along some coastal areas in Hawaii, Chile, Japan and the Islands of Solomon. Waves of more than 3 meters (yard) were possible along some coastal areas in Russia and Ecuador.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami alert to the Pacific Coast in Japan, saying that the waves of up to 3 meters (yard) can reach the length of the northern Japanese coast after less than half an hour of alert.
The Tsunami Warning Center said that a tsunami was created by the earthquake that could cause damage along the coasts for all Hawaiian islands.
“Urgent action must be taken to protect lives and property,” and the warning. The first waves were expected to be around 7 pm local time on Tuesday.
Japan and American earthquake scientists said at 8:25 am Japanese time, which reached 8.0. Japan and the American geological survey later updated its measurements to 8.7 size, and USGs said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 19.3 km (12 miles).

Tass also reported the power outage and the failure of the mobile phone service in the capital of the Kamchatka region.
Tass also quoted a local Russian official as saying that residents of Sakhalin Island were evacuated and emergency services were working at full capacity.
The Alaska -based Tsunami Tsunami Center issued a warning from the Tsunami to parts of the Alaska Aleotian Islands, and the hour of parts of the West Coast, including California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.
The consultant also includes a wide range of Alaska coast line, including parts of Panhandle.
Earlier in July, five powerful earthquakes – the largest size of 7.4 – were struck at sea near Kamchka. It was the largest earthquake at a depth of 20 km and was 144 km (89 miles) east of the city of Petrobavlofovsk Kamshasky, with a population of 180,000.
On November 4, 1952, a 9.0 earthquake in Kamchatka caused damage, but deaths were not reported despite the start of 9.1 meters (30 feet) waves in Hawaii.
