The mother of a 7 -year -old girl was arrested after the child was dead in the Van Nuwees apartment on Friday night.
Los Angeles police responded to reports of a child who was not breathing in a residential building in a building 6800 from Seboldede Street at 5:14 pm
The police entered the unit on the second floor of the family, where the little girl was found and did not respond in the bathtub.
One of the neighbors John Venglio told KTLA that three people live at home-a 7-year-old girl, along with a man and a woman.
The neighbor said that the man found the girl’s body without life when he arrived at home and started screaming for help. The police did not confirm whether this man was the father of the girl or the guardian.
The girl’s mother was found suffering from injuries that seemed to be torn, according to the neighbor.
The woman was detained. A video clip of the scene showed that it comes out of the apartment on a wheelchair with its wrists bound in the chair handles.
The circumstances surrounding the death of the girl are still unclear. No more details were launched, including its identity, as the killing is being achieved.
