2 teen girls hospitalized after stabbing attack in Ventura County

An investigation is underway after two teenage girls were taken to hospital following a stabbing attack in Port Hueneme.

On November 1, police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 1100 block of 6th at approximately 9:40 p.m. Minutes later, the police station received a call that a second teenage girl had also been stabbed nearby.

Port Hueneme police said the attackers were described as a Hispanic girl and a Hispanic boy, believed to be about 15 years old.

After investigation, police said that the stabbing incident resulted from a fight that occurred at a nearby house party.

The suspects fled the scene before police arrived. The two victims were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
