Two suspects have been arrested for a deadly teenage shooting in Riferside.
They were identified as Francisco Galligos, 20, and Braya Torres Aroyo, 21, according to the Riverid Police Department.
On May 28, 2023, the police responded to a shooting in an alley near Chicago Street and Linden Street around 5:13 pm
The officers found two teenage boys, 17 and 18, with gunshots. Both were transferred to the hospital.
The 18 -year -old, who was subsequently identified as Isaia Arfiso from Riferside, died of his wounds. Another teenager survived. Both suspects fled the scene before the police arrived.
“Initially, investigators had a limited description of the suspect and the exhaustion of all expected clients, as this seemed to shoot the gang,” said Riferside Police.
After an intense achievement, the investigators eventually identified Torres Aroo and Gallajos as a major suspect.
Inspection orders were provided in their homes and on July 11, both were arrested for murder. The investigation is still ongoing and no other details were issued in the case.
