A blower thief of a serial paper and his partner was arrested after they had a high -speed chase that caused two schools in Huntington Beach on Friday.
The matter started on Friday morning, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department, when the officers responded to the 8:45 am to steal the sheet of leaves that just occurred.
The officers arrived in the Yurton Street area and Golden West Street, where one of them was a convicted criminal – she stole me just a bomb of a gardener truck.
The suspects escaped by the time when the police arrived at the scene, but the witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect. After about 30 minutes, the car officer found the witnesses described and tried to pull them, but the suspects set out, and they started chasing.
“As the pursuit approaches the city center, the officers canceled this due to the wrongen leadership of the suspect,” the police administration said. “The car was found later deserted, but witnesses pointed to officers towards the suspects.”
The police did not say exactly where the car was found specifically, but they indicated that this was when the two schools were reserved in place “for safety reasons” while the officers looked for the suspects. The two schools concerned are Duair Intermediate School and Smith Elementary School.
After an unannounced period of time, the officers found and arrested both suspects after the construction of containment. In addition, the police found a loaded rifle and the stolen sheets in their car.
The police have identified the suspects as Cleiton Lahamman, 27, from Florida and Kortin Polim, 28, from Texas. The administration noted that Lahamman, a convict, has a large -scale criminal history, including “the arrests in Florida related to theft of the leaves and an active drug note in Texas.”
Lohman was eventually seized for criminals in a firearm possession, evading a felony, simple theft, conspiracy to commit a crime, delay or obstruction of an officer and possess a firearm loaded in public places. Pulliam was reserved to conspire to commit a crime and possess an over -the -counter substance.
The police said the investigation was still going on.
