Las Vegas (Class– Two and three people died in the hospital after the shooting in Renault, Nevada, Resort Monday morning.
Police received a call about the active shooter in the Safat area in the Grand Sierra Resort, before 7:30 am
Renault police said that the suspect allegedly fired several people before they were held after an exchange of fire with response officers.
He was transferred to a local hospital with wounded, according to Associated Press, but his condition was not known late on Monday morning. Renault police spokesman Chris Johnson said the conditions of other victims were not immediately known.
Caroline Akraman, a spokeswoman for the famous regional medical center, said that the hospital’s emergency department received many patients with gunshot wounds.
Renault residents were warned of moving away from the area as many emergency vehicles, including many ambulances, have responded to fire.
“My heart is broken to the victims, their families and our entire society. Renault is strong – but we are not immune from the epidemic of armed violence that controls this nation,” said Devon Reese, a member of the city council on a social media.
In addition to those who were killed and the people who were transferred to the hospital, three others were treated for minor injuries at the resort, according to Devon Reese, head of the Health Council in the north of Nevada. He said that one person was grazed by a bullet on their pinky finger, one of them was treated for great anxiety, and one of them was injured during the run.
Grand Sierra claims to have the largest casino casino in the north of Nevada and sitting a few buildings from Renault Tahoe International Airport. It is also one of the tallest buildings in the city, with approximately 2000 hotel rooms.

Michael Cisco, 60, said he was in his room and is about to go to his car’s servant when he heard the votes. He looked at his window and saw people screaming and running from the car row area.
