1 dead in Highway 101 crash with pickup truck, semi-truck pulling trailer: CHP Monterey

(Kron)-The Monterey Region office in California is investigating the highway in a deadly accident on Friday afternoon, which included a pickup truck and an evil charging charger with a trailer.

CHP said it was an alert from the accident at 3:07 pm after receiving several reports of a 101 -road traffic accident north on the Harttelil Road.

“The initial investigation indicates that Beck Toyota, led by a 47 -year -old resident of Salinas, was traveling north on the United States road, and is approaching the Harttenel Road,” CHP said in a press statement. “Meanwhile, half of the 62-year-old Shipping quarrels, a 62-year-old population, was traveling south in the United States -101 and is preparing to exceed the left on the Harttelil Road.”

At this moment, CHP said that semi -quarrels across the corridors heading to the north of the 101st Highway, and the right side of the semi -quarrel trailer collided with the front of the capture.

CHP said that the Toyota Pick Aug driver was fatal, and his death was declared at the scene, while the driver of the semi -quarrels was injured. The identity of the deceased will be launched by the Monterey Coroner Province Office after notifying the closest relatives.
